“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly."
Many people, today, confuse leadership and being in charge. Many categorize these as having the same meaning, but this is untrue. One can be a leader and not be in charge. As we often see, today, is that you can be in charge and not be a leader.
A leader normally displays characteristics that are preferably copied by others. But, many people, that are in charge of events, are rude because of their view of themselves in society. Being rude is not a characteristic of leadership. Yet, it is a way to create bad impressions. Those that feel the need to be rude because of society's unfair views are, usually, viewed unfairly because they are rude. This fact shows that they are still a stranger to discrimination. Unlearn.
