I WILL NOT LOSE!
People say ‘good job, you work hard, you should be proud of yourself.’ But, I’m not, because there are some things that I can’t do.
Though my situation dealt me a losing hand, I still have to play the game. We all must play this game called life. Despite my situations, I want to be playing with the best players. Because this is a desire of mine, I must be able to win in any condition.
I see my disability as an area where I am lacking. I don’t accept slack from myself, so I am frustrated as long as I am disabled.
The more that I accomplish, the more that I want to accomplish and, therefore, the more that I expect from myself. I'm still a long way from winning the game, but I'm slowly moving up the ranks. I have to keep reminding myself that my best is only good for one day. So, I may have done a good job, in the past, but my accomplishments then is not, and should not, be good for today. Unlearn.
